More of a maintenance/preventive **Q: I have hoses outside that connect to timers. Over time, I guess due to calcium build up, they become stuck. Which clr product would you recommend?** A: We do not recommend using any of our products, effective in dissolving mineral deposits, on hoses as the chemicals effective in dissolving minerals are not compatible with the material of hoses (usually rubber or plastics). Our CLR Clears Pipes & Drains does not dissolve mineral deposits, rather it's formulated to dissolve paper, waste, food, grease, etc...normally found in household drains/pipes. **Q: How much of the 42 oz. bottle do i have to use each month? and, do i have to do my kitchen drain; each of my bathroom drains, etc. monthly?** A: For best results apply during time of minimal water usage or overnight. Slow Drains: Apply 2 ounces per day directly into drain for 5 consecutive days or until drain flows freely.
