Klein Tools 32304 Screwdriver, 14-in-1 Adjustable Screwdriver with Flip Socket, HVAC Nut Drivers and Bits, Impact Rated

I bought this screwdriver to evaluate along with a couple of other options from Craftsman and Makita. This knocks those two for six for quality at the same pricepoint. It is exceptionally well made and feels very solid with a good weight. It is ergonomic and well-balanced in the hand with the bulk of the weight centered in the palm of the hand. The handle is slightly rubberised and soft-touch and grips well in the hand. The bit storage caddy in the base is well designed and has a 'lazy Susan' or carousel type action to easily access the bit that you want. The action for the storage caddy is solid and well engineered. The telescopic drive pole/blade is again very sturdy - it has several preset 'lock' points that it can slide out to, making it versatile for driving screws that are recessed or in hard to reach locations. The lock mechanism is reassuringly solid and well engineered. The bits themselves are high quality and well-machined, with no rough edges - they make the bits from some of the competitors look cheap in comparison. The selection of bits is good if somewhat quirky - there's a couple of HVAC-specific or unusual drive bits that most people will never use, whilst is simultaneously lacks variety in larger Philips drive bits that might be more useful for the mass market. The only thing this lacks is a ratchet mechanism and a case/pouch - add those and this could easily be good value at literally double the asking price. Highly recommended as is, but please, Klein - add a ratchet mechanism.

Waited quite a while for this to arrive from America but it was worth the wait. Fantastic screwdriver which covers most jobs I need it for. It’s now my go to screwdriver in my tool bag. 2 months of constant use and the quality shows through. Great screwdriver to have in the bag.

This is the most versatile screwdriver I have ever had! For a tradesman, it's a must have.

It would have been better if the paper specification and instruction sheet in the pack was separate from the plastic and not moulded into it, because if it is kept then there are jagged plastic edges where the contents have been removed! Also, the instructions don't indicate how to retract the central blade into the handle, and it took me quite a bit of tugging and twisting and turning to figure out that the metal plate at the top is spring loaded and has to be pushed down with a couple of fingers either side of the blade to allow the blade to be retracted and extended before it locks into place in either of these positions.

Up to Klein Tools usual standard. Clever design with extending shaft. Made for the American Market so no pozidrive bits as expected. I just swapped out the bits I don't use. Kept the Schrader valve core bit - you never know when it might come in handy!

I really like the flippy socket head. the Schrader key is useful as well. why do Americans fear pozi drive screws so?

The screwdriver function on this tool sucks. The bits don’t sit securely at all. Not having a ratchet function at this price is poor too. This tool looks good but utterly disappointed with this. If you can’t use it as a screwdriver then it loses most of its functionality. 1/10 scored. My Wera alternative is much better.

Great thing to have around! Super comfortable grip and veriety of bits included. Can take the shaft out and chuck it in your impact if you need. Great addition to the toolbag.

Me encantó. Yo colecciono entre otras cosas desarmadores y este me encantó por qué puedes guardar 12 puntas de desarmador dentro de su mango, por qué puedes encoger o expandir su varilla fácilmente, y algo más es que la varilla y los dados de la versión 32910 sin puntas de desarmador son perfectamente compatibles con este. Compramos una caminadora para mi esposa y me sirvió perfectamente con esta máquina. Es el segundo desarmador Klein que compró en solo un mes, podría volverme adicto a esta marca

Cambio a este tras el fiasco con el wera y la nula respuesta por parte de ellos. Espero que la calidad de construcción interna esté a la altura de la marca. Por el momento buena pinta, un poco más gordete que el wera pero parece que internamente esté mejor construido que el alemán (era todo plástico y partió al año con uso profesional).
