So many products I have purchased over the years promise to do this or that. Most of them don’t live up to their advertising. This one does. I pored two ounces into my cloudy tub and almost immediately a bunch of cream colored floating partials appeared. A couple hours later the filter gobbled the particles up and my water was sparkling clear again. I was very pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend for cloudy water in your hot tub! P

I have a huge Swim spa. 15x8. a couple hot tub seats on one end and basically a small pool. It was getting a little cloudy. Put this in and turned the jets on, started to foam up. Closed it up and ran the filter for several hours. that was 3 days ago. opened it up today. water was clear. BUT there was a scum all around the edge. Thick scum, like bubble gum. I think from the reviews I read, this is natural as it is the gunk and grap that is or was in the water to make it cloudy. I got a scratchy pad and cleaned the edge off. Put more stuff in the pool. Ran the jets and filter. Let's see how it looks tomorrow. I like that it is getting the gunk out of my water, but if it is leaving that stuff on the walls of my swim spa, what is it doing to the pumps inside??? This is why I gave it 4 stars.

This product is great to clear up the water. My spa has been cloudy since the kids were in it. I tried a few other products to help clear the water with limited success. I added the Spa Bright and within a hour water crystal clear.

After 3 years of searching (endlessly) for a product to clear my chronically cloudy hot tub, and after talking to my local tub dealer many times for a product or technique to clear the cloudiness (frustratingly without a solution!). I finally found it with this product, use as instructed it cleared out all the invisible 'gunk' from my hot tub in less than an hour! I always maintain a perfect PH and Chlorine levels in my Arctic Spas Cub Model tub (285 gal), but could only keep the water looking clean for a few days after a complete drain & refill of the tub with new filters installed, it would always go back to cloudy within a few days - this had continued for 3 YEARS to a point I was ready to get rid of the tub. For now, this product has restored it back to pristine crystal clear water, which is what I expected after spending $20K for a high-end hot tub 3 years ago. Thank you Leisure Time for creating this product, it absolutely works using their proprietary 'surfactant' chemical to trap all the organic invisible gunk in your tub, which then coagulates and floats to the surface in larger particles to be skimmed off or captured by a scum sponge I use - see the picture of what it removed, I used the tub pre-filters to not clog up my main filters which worked perfectly, and had to toss the Zorbie sponge, but happy to do it to obtain a sparking clean tub - 10 stars, great product!

Unbelievable! All hot tubs should be sold with this stuff. It’s essential. I’ll go as far as saying owning a hot tub is not worth it without it. My tub was pretty much disgusting before I used this stuff. I didn’t even realize how gross it was. I would always clean huge globs of gunk from the water line of the hot tub just about every time we used it. I just thought this was normal. I called the place where I bought it and they said it was normal and laughed about it being part of owning a hot tub. Me, being a first time owner, just kind of accepted it. I always had in the back of my head the thoughts of commercial hot tubs, at hotels and stuff and knew there must be some secret. Well, let me tell you THIS IS IT! My tub went from embarrassingly gross to showstopper overnight! Like others of said, when you first put it in, you see the reaction taking place where all of the oils and nasty crap bind together. I used my skimmer to remove most of it and a sponge to wipe the rim. I could tell though right away that it was working. I yelled for my wife to come and see it but at first wasn’t able to see the magic. She could only see all of the crap that was still binding together. So, we went in! After a few more skims and wipes, my wife was wowed! She said, “I’ve never been able to see the jets like this before” That’s how disgusting our tub was. Anyway, I’m tired of writing. You get the point. This stuff makes owning a hot tub fun! I am going to tell the owners of our local shop that they must start selling the tubs with it. They will get a lot less phone calls! For what it’s worth, we have an Ace salt water system and this stuff is safe to use with salt water tubs. I checked with Leisure Time! Also, I’ll add a photo of my tub now but I wish I had a before shot. Happy soaking!!!

I was skeptical at first because I've tried many different products to clarify my water. None of them worked very well so I ordered Leisure Time Bright and Clear hoping for the best. I gotta tell you, this stuff is magic! It worked just as described. I am very happy with the results and would definitely recommend it.

I need to take before and after photos next time I do this...is clears it up at about 15 minutes. The amount of scum you can wisk away is scary. So glad we now have crystal clear water again!

We use bromine and oxydizer to sanitize our spa. A few months after we got it, all levels were great but the water was not very clear. We cleaned the filters often, shocked the spa, and tried a few products, and this one works like magic! A little goes a long way. We ended up doing 3 treatments over 3 days to clear up all the particles that were too small to be caught in the filter. We use a little, about 1 oz every month or after heavy usage. Haven't had cloudy water since the initial time we cleared our spa water! I highly recommend this product.

This stuff definitely clears the water. Be ready to clean a ring of scum around the edge of your hottub. The first time I used this it left a gross scum line around the edge of the hot tub. I needed about 4 or 5 magic erasers and as many rags to clean the scum afterwords. Use new dollar store erasers as you will need to throw them out after. This clears your water but bd prepared to spend some time cleaning after.

The water clarified, perhaps not as quickly as we expected, but we do not have a comparative so that it cannot be considered good or bad. Just be patient if you put it in and expect immediate results... it took until the next day to look better (we left it and looked again in the morning).

hot tub was cloudy and full of foam within minutes rust colored foam came to surface . within an hour tub was very clear. no water line scum now. product is perfect. 4oz fixed a 1200 liter tub problem.
