So if you can be decent with measuring, (and carefully resealing w/tape) I see no reason why you can’t save some for later. I would just be cautious of the proportions. What I mean is, one packet of color goes with one full bottle of water, so you’d have to cut both in half. If you did half a packet, with a full bottle of water, you’d just have less bright colors.
