I was laying in my hammock in my backyard and noticed a storm heading my way so I decided to grab my rain fly and test it out before my trip to the Tetons later this summer. I only had a few minutes to set it up and consequently had quite a bit of slack in the ridge line. Despite this, I still stayed perfectly dry and was quite thrilled with this Fly. I live on a hill and while this storm only lasted about 30 minutes, the wind was very very strong and I was surprised how well it worked. If I had actually been on the trail i definitely would've needed my backpack covered as some rain did go hit the ground under me. If I was able to set the Fly with one sit facing the storm this may not have been an issue but i did not have the option to do so.
