Money-Saving and Temperature-Consistent
The Spa Depot Thermo-Float has been a fantastic investment for our hot tub. Right away we noticed that it helped keep the water temperature much more consistent, which means the heater isn’t running nearly as often. That alone has saved us money on energy costs, and it gives us peace of mind knowing the tub is always ready to enjoy. The cover is sturdy, easy to place, and fits perfectly. It really locks in the heat and reduces evaporation, which makes a huge difference—especially in cooler weather. We’ve had other covers before, but none have worked this well at maintaining warmth without constant cycling. If you want to cut down on operating costs while keeping your hot tub comfortable and ready to use, this Thermo-Float is a must-have. It does exactly what it promises—saves money and keeps the temperature steady.

Great cover, keeps warm, saves water
This is a great spa cover. Didn’t need to trim at all. Keeps the temperature constant, the heater works less and save electricity. The cover also slows evaporation, which also saves money. How can you go wrong on either front. It also folds very easy. Highly recommend

Good product overall and I believe it helps to hold the heat in
Overall like this product and it seems to work well for holding heat in the tub and reducing costs to heat. In winter we just peel it back, hop in and pull it up to us to hold the heat in. Works well all year. My only issue is that the material discolors due to iron in the water. I filter the water as it goes into the tub but still this has turned brown in spots over time. But it still works and is a great economical way to avoid heat dissipation and running up the electric bills. I think our bill goes up about $10-15/mo during the winter months. Along with this cover that goes about half way down the tub I also wrap 2" thick blue board around the base during the winter. It all helps to avoid wasting energy and $$$

I think its going to Save my Hot Tub Cover
I love this thing. I started using one June 2021... about 5 months so far. Besides the savings I get from the blanket effect keeping p heat in, there's also a big reduction in the rate of evaporation. Why is this important? Do you have a Hot Tub? How many times have your replaced the cover because the underside starts stinking from the tropical rainforest wet heat it is constantly exposed to? After I got rid of our wretched old cover, I started using this pad over the summer this while waiting for the next cover. Now I have the cover and I decided to continue using this thing anyway. Day after day I find the underside of the cover is so DRY! I had cut my pad so there's less than an inch of water exposed to the air around the edge. The amount of open water is now less than 5% of what it was without the pad so I figure I get 95% less evaporation. I don't think my new cover is going to go bad at the same rate as before.

Great product for a great.
Second one I’ve added to my old tub. The first one I purchased well over five years ago and it’s still pliable bubbles still have air in them. I agree with a previous reviewer that my first piece came with a 3” flat seam in it as well, don’t think it’s there fault but it’s manufactured that wavy. This new piece didn’t and it was big enough for my small tub to make almost a second out of the remnants, yes my tub is a small, a whopping 5’x7’, but it works fine. Spa Depot was fast on delivery almost overnight, yes they are in my home state so that helps but they don’t mess around getting the item shipped off to you, pricing is competitive, just a decent company!
