Not only are whitening products ineffective when it comes to brightening under your brackets but any use during orthodontic treatment can result in an uneven overall color. After the orthodontist removes your braces you're likely to see noticeably darker marks where the brackets were, even if you don’t have stains. Beyond the cosmetic issues, whitening with braces can also result in irritation. Some whitening products increase teeth and gum sensitivity. Combine this with the sensitivity braces can also cause and you may add unnecessary discomfort to your orthodontic treatment. **Q: How long til you see a difference?** A: I did not see a difference at all with this purple toothpaste. My Dentist called it "Modern Snake oil" *by D***D on November 2, 2022* Does not work. Pump isnt even correctly assembled. Has no straw to pump out of container. Had to buy a functioning pump from the store just to get this out of the container. After seeing no difference, I went to my dentist and showed them and they listed out all the ingredients (found on the side of the box) and explained what it does.
