Also, the reverse light/taillight circuits are already fuse protected and with much beefier wire. Considering the draw on this is probably ~500ma, you might want a 1.5A fuse, although because of the thin wire, this may or may not exceed the current capacity of the wire, thus defeating the purpose. If you are dead set on fusing this I would maybe start at 500ma and be prepared to move up to 1A?
