Smooth writing, fun colors, and apparently very high social value. They were such a hit that we ended up giving some away in my youngest daughter’s birthday goodie bags. Big mistake. I now know which kids remember that party and which ones are hoping for a sequel. They write well, do not jam, and make kids genuinely excited to do schoolwork, which feels suspicious.
