Not quite as successful in veg patches and needs persistence by trying different placements. If you find a run that seems to be in regular use by the unwanted visitor then tread this in to position. On soft ground (eg the veg patch) I find I have to lift the frame slightly whilst trying to set it, to get it to hold in the primed mode otherwise it triggers as soon as I take my foot off. As with all traps make sure you understand where not to put your fingers, but this is one of the easier devices I've used and had the most success. I researched different traps and was set on buying a 'Wire tek mole trap' made in the USA. However delivery on Amazon was about 3 weeks and cost over £100.00 for 2...... I couldn't wait 3 weeks as my premium lawn was getting destroyed by the day. I decided to give the QWORK ago as it looked similar, was easy to set, and was much cheaper. Although it took 3 attempts to lock it in place when I first tried to set it up, it was set. I left it for a day without it being triggered. The next morning the trap had sprung and the biggest mole I'd ever seen was caught. I would recommend this trap as the best £22.00 I've spent in years.
