I've been out of college for several years now, so pretty much all math that I had learned has since been forgotten. I'm planning on going back for a masters, and will need to take a number of college-level math classes (yikes!). I'm trying to re-teach myself as much as possible, and I have found this book to be one of the most helpful. It's a very "busy" book, and by that I mean that each and every page is filled with pictures, words, numbers, etc., but that is part of what makes this book so helpful to me. I do wish that this book offered additional problems and solutions on each topic, but I have found another option to get more practice in. Based on the generous use of color, and the formatting, it's obviously meant to explain and teach young children.
