The books are glossy and enjoyable, and are a good small size, easy to carry around everywhere, to study when you have some extra time out and about. The cards are good quality, glossy and fun to work with. The cards are much more practical to work with than the signs books, as you can keep the ones you need to study further in a seperate pile and dont need to spend time finding them in the book. My wife studied with this set for a little over a week, and did a couple of mock tests online and passed her test easily. The set is quite durable and would easily get a couple more people through their tests. It would be nice to have a pouch/envelope to keep all the cards in, but we just put an elastic band around them and theyre good to go. Overall, this set is of course a bit more expensive than buying only the books, but the books are good quality and the cards give an enjoyable twist to studying. She has already applied for her provisional license and booked her theory test. So, this Learn-to-Drive set looked ideal for her.You get a copy of the 2021 Highway Code, 2021 Know Your Traffic Signs Book and 132 Traffic-Sign Cards. This copy of the Highway code does not include the recent changes, including those relating to cyclists.The cards come in four cellophane packs, but you do not have anything to keep them in. The cards are a decent enough thickness and wipe-cleanThe cards are great, as they are categorised and have the sign on one side and the details/answer on the other, great for quizzing my daughter. You have categories such as Speed Limits Signs, Road Works & Temporary, Regulatory Signs, Warning Signs, etc and then you have the book to accompany them - they can be cross-referenced to the Highway Code also. If my daughter is weak in a particular area, then we can just focus on that with the cards.What is a shame with the Traffic Signs books is that the top of each of the pages has a blue bar, which does not relate to the colour category on the cards? You must go to the contents at the front to find them. It would have been much better if the coloured bar at the top of each page related to the category colour on the card.Apart from my last point, this is a great little set to kick off my daughters learning but she will need to add to this by checking online for the latest Highway Code updates.I was trying to figure out whether I think this set is good value or not at £19.99. The official Highway Code book is about £4.50 and let us say the Signs book is the same, then you are paying about £11 for 132 cards – approx. 8p/each. I suppose it depends on whether it really helps my daughter pass or not.
