First when I opened the package the female end where you plug in a lightning charger looked like the plastic mold had been cut out by a guy with an exacto knife. This was from factory. It was no surprise when I plugged it in it was a very clumsy fit. When I plugged the device into my iPhone 7 and plugged both headphones and a charger into the receiving end it worked I watched a YouTube video and charged getting sound through headphones for about 8 seconds before my phone told me it did not support this device and stopped working.
