It's very durable and the cabinet itself is very heavy, safe and tough. **Q: can you reset the combination lock?** A: I bought 3 of these and had trouble with 2 of them. The last one I could not reset the lock at all. It was just deep enough for our hundreds of keys. It is very solid in feel and weight. I would highly recommend this key vault. It's also nice that it is both digital entry, with back up keyed entry. In our application, we cut into the drywall in an office and attached it very solidly to the studs behind it. After 3 months, attempted to access the unit and the keypad no longer functions. I has been opened 3 times since it was purchased. Worked correctly after installed. Fresh batteries installed.
