I have used the last one daily for three years and finally decided to replace it because it was looking a bit tired. It still worked fine, just looked less than pristine. I tend to put it into the dishwasher every week or so to keep it free of mold and soap scum. That works really well with this model! The soft handle is comfortable to hold and doesn't break or chip if it is dropped. When it is new (or right after a trip through the dishwasher) it does make a lot of noise as it wipes ALL the moisture off but that doesn't bother me at all. The handle being soft silicone makes a bigger difference than I expected. With the other blades, every once in a while I bump it up against the window or the car. I haven't done any damage but it always makes me cringe. This one feels absolutely safe. It flexes nicely with the contours of the windshield and rear window, yet also cleanly covers the flat side windows. I don't use it on the body of my car but it seems like it would work on the curves well.
