Well, this mat is brilliant. It's a lovely shade of purple which is ever-so-slightly paler than the Amazon photos would suggest, but it's a great fit to my white and black setup. The mat is fully coated with rubber underneath and does not even move on my desk without being lifted up. The edges are sewn as you can see in the photos. The surface is very soft; however, my SteelSeries mat seems to cause slightly less friction with my mouse. I've put the SS mat on top of the Logi one and it's perfect for me. The price was good too - I bought from Amazon Warehouse but even at full price it's a great product.
