Not at all worth it... Doesn't work... SAYHI by Amazon works 100 times better and you don't need anything... Just don't waste your money

I got the one for android for my trip to Central America. At the beginning of my trip I realized the device didn’t fit my phone. I changed phones a week before the trip to Apple. Oh no!! So I couldn’t use it. Their app allows for texting translation but WiFi is needed, the device doesn’t need WiFi. I emailed them about my issue and they sent out a device that would fit apple right away! No charge, just right away helping me with my situation. Unfortunately, the time it arrived was at the end of my trip, but their effort to help me was remarkable

This device, although small, nice and compact appears easy to use, however it does not fit 2018 Android phones. It says it fits Android 7 and above, and this may be true, but my phone is Android 9, and the charger port where the device fits into is too SMALL for the device. It's designed for the current model phones with the larger charger ports, and does not fit anything less. Will I purchase a new phone just to try this device... hmm? Not sure at this moment. I need a translator, not a new phone! Hmm. I must either return this item for a full refund and keep going, or consider other options. If I buy a new phone and the device works mediocre or "just so-so" like many translators, then I'm up a creek. I'm posing these scenario's so other's, when considering this awesome little item will know the situation as it really is. If your phone is a newer model with the wide/flat charging port then this will fit, but not the phones with the smaller, standard size charging port. Additionally, my question is, "If the device goes into the charging port, then how does one charge their phone in the meantime?" If you are at a lecture for example and your phone needs to charge while using the translator, what then? I believe the device is great, but it needs an adapter to facilitate charging while translation is ongoing as well. Even an adapter that fits the "standard" phones and charges as well would also be profitable. Hope this helps...

I bought two for our trip to Greece. The main reason I bought these were the excellent reviews not only on Amazon but other sites as well. They translate GREEK, where most others do not. I bought the earbuds and I love them. They paired easily which is a plus since im technologically impaired. The ZERO I had a harder time with but Timekettle support was excellent and I found that i purchased the wrong Zero for my phone. IOS is for iPhone and C is for Android so make sure you order the correct version for yourselves. I find the earbuds keep up slightly faster than the zero but the zero is able to cover more kinds of conversation, especially if the person or people you’re speaking to do not have the earbuds. My family and friends all borrow it when traveling. Im thinking this will make a great gift for them! It works well, Sound quality is good, Pairing is easy and Translation if not exact is really close enough for me to understand the conversation. Im learning quite a bit as well. If was definitely a good purchase on my part and it was well worth the money,

Good device, easy to use The only negative is that there are few offline dictionaries P.S. - On my ZERO, it turned out not a very convenient action - in order for the device to perceive speech normally, it must be brought close to the face A friend with a similar device does not have such a problem.

I received this translator device for free with the purchase of the W4 Pro Earbuds... I'm curious why these two devices are paired together. What I mean by this is that the two items don't work together at all. If you have W4 Earbuds, you have no need of this device. Also, if when I installed this device after installing my W4 Earbuds, I lost sound control in the earbuds. I had to delete my TimeKettle App and reinstall it. Also, of note, is that if you have any phone case of merit, this device won't plug in, the C port is too short; you have to purchase a USB C extender, such as Cable Matters makes, or take your case off... which is never a good idea. Another strange thing I found is that the app does not give you as many options as the W4 earbuds, when the device is selected. To some degree, this makes sense, because you can't do person to person communicating, like with the earbuds, but in another since it doesn't because some of the software should be the same, regardless of the device. I would be more specific, but I got frustrated with this device, after it made my W4 earbuds stop working, so I stopped using it after that. I recommend, saving up the money and buying the W4 earbuds, they are so much better.
