The only issue was the "excess" plate at the bottom covered several of the input connections. I was using only the HDMI input so this didn't affect me. Had I used either the Component or Composite inputs and the Audio output it may have been an issue. You would have to plug in the cables prior to mounting this plate to the TV. When I started my "final" installation, I saw where the bag of hardware had been cut and two of the screws/nuts required to mount the adapter plate to the stand were missing. I sent an email to HumanCentric and it wasn't long before I received a reply. They apologized for the problem and sent out a replacement bag of hardware that day. I received the bag in a day or so and I was back in business. Plate does exactly what it was designed to do. The big headline in this was the fantastic support from HumanCentric.
