More specifically, how long are the pegs?** A: The pegs are 18" long and the wall panel is 39 1/2 " long. T-Rax Surf does make other models with longer pegs but they are not on Amazon at this time. Thanks, Tom T-Rax Surf **Q: How long are the racks?** A: The 6 board T-Rax is 40 inches long. **Q: How resistant to rust are these racks (for a beach house right next to the sea)?** A: T-Rax are very rust resistant. All surf racks come with no rust stainless steel hardware standard. UV rated high quality foam padding. Corrosion resistant color coating on wall panel. **Q: Are there pre-drilled holes to mount the rack to the wall? If so, what distance apart are they? I am mounting through dry wall and into studs.** A: I have had two sets of these racks in my garage since summer of 2016 - fantastic product. I thought I had to anchor them into studs when I bought them, but the installation instructions say anchoring in drywall is sufficient. It assembles easily, screws in securely, and looks great.My only complaint is that there's nothing to prevent the boards from falling away from the wall. They're just leaning, which is fine, but if they get bumped (or in California, an earthquake) big boards especially could tip out and fall over.
