Review: Works well - I am pretty impressed with how well this stuff works. I first tried to broadcast it onto the paint afterwards like some reviewers suggested, but found it too hard to get even. So my advice would be to mix it with your paint in small batches so you can stir it alot to get even grit distribution. I wanted a really rough surface so I rolled it on and that worked well for my application. Much nicer than using sand, imo. I went a bit radical and because I wan't very concerned with the appearance of my final surface (max grip was more important) and I actually did a second coat where I broadcast a little extra grit onto fresh wet paint and then rolled that in. So it wasn't as even as one would usually want, but the amount of grip is pretty amazing. I bought in from desertcart and pretty pricey for such a small amount, but if you can find it locally it is far cheaper because the free shipping is not built into the price. For me the conveniece of buying online is worth it. Review: Works like a gem - This was easy to use with paint and I applied it on the steps and 1st part of my porch as the rain would often make these areas slick and people would slip. The only thing I don't like is you can see it. I was often asked what damaged my porch! When mixed with paint, and I suppose varnish, when it dries, it creates an anti-slip gritty surface. **Q: Can this be added to Thompson’s water seal?** A: I don't know. I used it in paint for in front of my stoop, which was very slippery from water rolling off my roof. It worked great. **Q: Did anti-slip also provide 'cool' deck?** A: Since my small boat has an aluminum hull, it stays the temperature of the water. The additive is nothing much more than fine white sand and when mixed with paint forms the anti-slip rough surface. Use a good deck paint. **Q: Would this work well on a diving board?** A: I would think so. I used it on the fiberglass floor of my boat, and the texture is very similar to that of a diving board.
