Reduced to 3 stars due to durability *by T***E on April 27, 2017* I'm very happy with this. It is very comfortable and solid. My back is picky about the types of chairs/couches I sit on, and the position that I relax in. I can sit/lay on this in many different positions with no problem.Assembly: Not difficult, but tedious. Plan on a couple of hours to put it together. The first one will take the longest since the instructions are not very helpful (especially the diagrams!). But once you get the first one, the others get easier.I love assembling things, so putting it together was no problem, but I could see where others may have trouble. Assembling the back piece to the base piece was challenging on one of them as the metal frame wasn't perfectly straight. I think they could provide longer screws and stick with just one size instead of 2 different sizes and that would make the assembly easier. Also, the head of the screws round out a little too easily.Update 3+ years later. The vinyl wicker covering deteriorates after about a year. These only sit outside a few months out of the year, but during their second year I noticed that it started shedding pieces of the wicker - in non-stress as well as higher stressed areas. Now, at the end of their 4th year (about 12 months total outside), it is a mess. I'll need to find something weatherproof to cover it with, or toss the set out - an expensive thing to just throw away. ### ⭐ Maybe defected ??? *by D***E on September 2, 2017* This set I would not pay $100 for let alone what I paid. I thought it was going to be high quality by the picture and other people reviews. The whole set it extremely light, the cushions aren't as thick as they seem and blow over at the slightest wind, while putting it together the screw holes didn't line up and the screws were getting stripped, maybe I got a defected one, I don't know. It's definitely a lot shorter than I thought. The resin is cheap and flimsy and scratches very easily. Nothing like the set I bought at JCP 6 years ago that has lasted me through multiple season and New York winters. I would not recommend this product. I originally thought the back height would be taller than it is, but am pleasantly pleased at the comfort and support it offers. The ottoman matches in height to the couch sitting coushins which is great! I will be using the ottoman as a table for drinks and a footstool as well. The coushins are sturdy and comfortable.
