They are stuck together. How to separate?** A: 1. Put the outer cup in hot water and the inner cup with ice cubes or either spray cooking spray between the 2 cups or pur oil between the cups. When you see the oil drip down between the 2, twist the 2 and should come apart. **Q: What is difference Pyrex Prepware measuring cups and regular measuring cups?Pyrex** A: The pouring spout appears somewhat broader, making pouring with viscous things easier, as I see them. As long as they are both true Pyrex brand, there is otherwise little difference. **Q: Can you use these with a double broiler method?** A: Theoretically you could use them in a double broiler method my only caution or concern would be using direct flame heat i would suggest using an electric hot plate which i have done and know does work. **Q: Is this genuine pyrex or chinese knockoff?** A: I had 2 ( one broke )before I ordered from 30 yrs ago. The 2 I received were the exactly the same as the older ones. The glass is thicker than others and you can easily read measurements.
