For more than twice the market value since it has sticker on that says Synology. I get wanting to ensure hardware compatibility, but there's no reason to double the price. Synology recently (seemingly) learned their lesson about vendor locking drives, but I don't see them letting go of this. So let's do something about the stupid markup... Other than that it's RAM and it works. PLEX navigates faster on my 1522+ (not night and day). VMs will be happier. Install was simple.
