I love that it comes with eight seasonal designs, so that I can use the molds year-round. The molds are easy to use and make very crisp shapes. A little too big for uchigashi/rakugan *by D***S on June 15, 2019* The hard plastic mould is great for creating dry tea sweets and doesn't need to be wet like traditional wooden moulds. The sweets come out with a tap on the table and he designs are beautiful. The moulds, however are slightly bigger than traditional rakugan and almost twice as thick. The combination makes for very large sweets. As this is one of the few rakugan moulds available in the US, it is worth having. Fresh sweets are much better than the packaged ones. Wasanbon and Kanbaiko are now available from Japan via Amazon.
