It took about one hour to put together. All the parts were present. One wing nut & bolt had fallen off the frame but I found them in the bottom of the box. This bed will unassemble & fold down easy if you ever need to move it. Purchased a new mattress for the platform bed. It does sift a little on the frame but no big deal. My son loves it & so do I. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very Pleased with this Frame *by S***R on Reviewed in the United States on March 20, 2016* This bed frame is the Bomb!I have had a Queen-sized Ikea bed frame, but have downsized my living quarters and so bought this double bed frame. I love the modern look. The silver metal look, I like - though it does come in black, if one prefers that look. It comes in quite a small box, about 65 pounds or so. I could drag it in from the garage where it was delivered and get it to my bedroom. I put it together myself (I am 66, overweight, and awaiting knee replacement surgery, so not exactly an athlete). I found it very logical and easy to put together. The instructions are very straight-forward and intelligible. The only tool required was a good sized Phillips head screw driver. I think altogether it might have taken me half an hour to 40 minutes to put together, but that was more about my condition. A healthy young lad/lassie, would probably have it together in 15-20 minutes.It is very sturdy (description says it can hold up to 2300 lbs, though Dear God, I hope I never need that capacity...LOL). It is perfectly stable. I have a memory foam mattress upon it, 12" thick. It makes nary a squeaking sound with turning over.
