It is not the fault of the adapter but, the limitations that it has to deal with.I gave it five stars because they paired easy and one connected to the other.What to know: You really need to be aware of what leg each outlet you are using is connected to. By "leg" I mean the left, or right side of your circuit breaker. For best results with any device, the breaker for both outlets should be on the same side of your breaker box. you will have a left or right side, or a top and bottom. They do not have to be right next to each other but at least on the same side for best results.I had to move some lines around to get mine all on the same side.I purchased 3 units, one by my router, one in the livingroom about 100 or so feet away, one in the bedroom downstairs about 30 feet away from the router.The living room paired, but, the download speed according to my xbox was 10-15 mbps Not great, but, if your wifi repeatedly drops out, or is about the same speed, then this would be a better option.The downstairs bedroom will not pair, but, I was able to connect to the internet at about 20mbps speed. Again, that PC had issues using an external wifi adapter and I got tired of buying them and dealing with it so, for that PC it will be fine.I am disappointed with the speed but, the wiring in my house is 40 yrs old and that plays a part also, even though they are all copper wires.Overall they worked, just not getting the speeds that I hoped for. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Reliable and fast *by A***) on June 21, 2024* This is the 4th set of Powerline adapters I have tested on the same two outlets, about 90' apart, going through two breaker boxes.This one works reliably, and is relatively fast, giving around 150Mbps. It also has a web interface to configure each device. For an unknown brand, the quality seems really good, only time will tell.The other devices I had used on the same outlets were the Extollo which managed up to 300Mbps until one overheated and died, and the Zyxel abd TPlink ones, both of which had poor connections and required proprietary Windows software to configure the devices. ### ⭐ Do not buy *by V***E on December 17, 2024* These powerline adaptors are terrible. They do not work.
