It's for 04 6.0** A: If you check the Ford Parts website & click the "supersession" button it says Ford part #9155(fd-4606) has been replaced by part #9N184. If you enlarge the picture of the box here on Amazon, under the fd-4616 you will see that the other part number listed is 9N184. Not sure why the Ford site still lists it under the old part # (and still has the "add to cart" option under the old number as well), but I've noticed similar situations on the Ford site before. I've checked a couple other sites as well though & it looks like the fd-4616 fuel filters are correct for the 6.0 **Q: Will this filter fit a 2004 Ford 250 superduty 6.0 diesel truck?** A: Yes it should. It fits our 2003 6.0 diesel. I highly recommend using OEM filters on these trucks. They are a perfect fit. I've read some aftermarket stuff doesn't fit as well. The same is true of the oil filters. Btw - Amazon has a pretty handy low profile fuel filter socket. It makes the swap a little easier for the fuel pump cap along the frame rail under the truck.
