Review: We installed our Atoto S8 gen 2 in our sprinter based RV. So far we quite like this replacement to the smaller, factory installed Sony. The screen is bright and responsive. The sound is good. It does takes a bit to get used to the Google tablet background which provides lots of options. I use Google offline maps which appears to work fine. Another item we like to try while traveling is the MIFI function. We can buy a data sim for the unit and hotspot off it. One suggestion I would like to make is to include the RCam app in the apps that are allowed to run on the split screen. That way we could have a live rear view and gps side by side on the screen. Maybe it's possible and I haven't figured it out yet. The seller appears responsive and helpful. Overall so far so good!
Review: I have purchased 4x ATOTO Head Units over the years. I have had 2x A6 and 2x S8 models. I tried both the 7 inch and 10 inch ones in my 2013 Scion FRS. All of them were excellent upgrades over the stock head unit. Via the ATOTO head unit, I was able to set up useful apps that I could not otherwise on Android Auto/Apple Carplay and achieved a level of customization and automation that couldn't be done on your standard head unit. In addition, the accessories that they have in their store pair well with the head unit including the tire pressure monitor system or OBDII reader. Fantastic product overall, I am getting ready to upgrade to the new X10 and will eventually leave a review for that model.

- S8 (Gen 2) is the second generation of ATOTO S8 Android car stereo, and its Soc applies a 12nm manufacturing process,ARM Cortext Octa-Core processor (higher efficiency,lower consumption,High performance), and the latest ATOTO AICE UI 11.0 (deep customization on Android Q). S8 Gen 2 brings satisfaction to various operations. Four options are available for internet access - WiFi/Bluetooth/USB Tethering connection, or via builtin 4G Cellular Modem (SIM card not included).
- Dual Bluetooth allows S8 to enable multi-connections with phone & other BT devices simultaneously. BT2 supports connecting to the Phone's BT tethering internet. BT1 comes with Qualcomm aptX HD codec, supporting 24-bit music quality over BT. Listeners can hear even the smallest details in their music (phone needs to support BT aptX HD codec, too). Built-in phone integration link supports wired/wireless Android Auto, plus wired/wireless CarPlay.
- It works with ATOTO AC-HD03LR camera (not included) to have an HD Virtual Surround-View (VSV) and Live Rear-View (LRV) display. A special Panoramic Image Stitching algorithm builtin to process the image sent from AC-HD03LR and rebuild a dynamic,virtual but almost same-size ratio surroundings view (VSV). With LRV option, users can access rearview even if the vehicle is moving ahead,removing obstructions of headrests and the vehicle's rear pillars and increasing the field of view.
- Speed Compensated Volume Control (SCVC)- Automatically adjusts S8's system volume as vehicle speed changes, to adjust for road and wind noise (applicable in 50mph or up. Software algorithms based on GPS positioning).S8 enables six touch gestures that support a two-finger / three-finger tap to enter the multi-task menu quickly,switch between preset 9 EQ modes, adjust the screen brightness, etc., which improves the operation safety during driving.Also,the split screen display is supported.
- S8G2104PR adopts the DAH10D mounting style (Double-DIN Adaptive Head-unit of 10.1-inch Display). You will have a floating HD big display style (extra double-DIN dash kit may be required). As the big 10.1-inch screen hovers over your dashboard, for few vehicles, the edge of the display part may block the air vent, emergency switch or other buttons located around, thus, if you have such a problem and can not accept it, here are also many other ATOTO car stereo models for your choice.

I have purchased 4x ATOTO Head Units over the years. I have had 2x A6 and 2x S8 models. I tried both the 7 inch and 10 inch ones in my 2013 Scion FRS. All of them were excellent upgrades over the stock head unit. フィットのナビ角度は元々斜め上を向いてて見にくくてずっと気になってました。 純正ナビだとチルトでいくらか下向きに出来ましたがそれでも日差しで見にくくて遮るシェードを付けてました。 ほとんどテレビも見なくなりもっぱらBluetooth繋げてスマホでYouTube見てるので、そろそろAndroidナビも完成度上がってきたかな？と購入。 モニタも10インチで取り付け大丈夫かな？と不安はありましたがかなり前に突き出せるのでエアコンボタンとかには全く干渉せず。 画像は一番奥にしてますがもっと前に出す事も出来ます。 角度もかなり下向きに出来たのでかなり見やすく＆前に出たので操作もしやすくなりました。 リモコンも取り付けて簡単な操作が快適に。 配線が分かり難かったのとナビ上でボタンの設定があるのでそのままでは使えず戸惑いました。 Wi-Fiに繋げてYouTubeとTwitch再生しましたがかなり滑らかに。 起動も速く音も良し。 SIMはテザリングでとりあえず使っていくので楽天SIMが使えるかまだ試してません。 GPSも今のところ普通に掴めて問題なさそう。 普通にAndroidタブレットがナビになった感じですね。 追記 配線類まとめてカバー取り付け。 キレイに収まりました。 日差しの影響も無く明るいと見にくいみたいな事も無いです。 SIMカードは検討してますがBluetoothテザリングがスマホの電池の減りも少なく、起動の度に接続させる必要はありますが、ランチャーを使いやすい物に変えてからは2タッチででできるので今のところこれで充分かな。
