They fit our 12-inch mattress with a 4-inch foam topper well. They're a bit thicker than my other, much more expensive, cotton percale sheet sets, but I think this will make them more durable in the long run, because our cats like to play in sheets and inevitably poke holes in them. They're not as soft or crisp feeling as more expensive sheets, but honestly, for the price, I don't really care. I can't abide silky or satiny fabric, and these are nice and fresh.
