I know this is not the EXACT cheese I had in the early 1980's when I was in the Navy, but its darn close. I purchased this package so I could try them all. ALL of them are great. If you're a "normal" type cheese eater, the regular will work for you just fine, it tastes like a slightly creamy cheddar cheese spread. If, however, you're after a bit of added flavor both the Bacon and Jalapeno will hit the spot, with the jalapeno having a harder hit then the bacon one has. I don't even like Jalapeno's but I like this cheese on a good cracker (I buy Ritz by the case). The bacon is not as strong as I would like, but it still tastes really good. I went through this package of 24 packages in a week (yeah, I know), but for a snack (sometimes I make it a meal) its just fantastic.
