This thing is outstanding, Still not sure if there is any less capacity, but the ease of use is greatly improved vs, the original Polaris equipment! The filter empties very easily, minimizing the "gross" factor. Debris just falls out easily and there is only one zipper to handle as opposed to the original equipment (2 zippers). So I consider this even superior to the original Polaris equipment.Will continue to buy, especially at these prices! I have increased my rating from 4 to 5 stars!Fits perfectly and works. Just, a couple of things. If you are expecting the same quality (I wasn't) as the original Polaris equipment you will be perhaps disappointed. The materials are not as heavy certainly but it is unclear if that is a good thing or a bad thing? I don't know if the bag will wear out faster, logic says it probably will, my original lasted 2 years 9 months. It lasted, but did get pretty gross. Bottom line, it works.However, the thing that I didn't like is that although the dimensions are about the same, there is only one pouch, not two like the original Polaris bag. This means there definitely appears to be less capacity and I have a big tree over my pool so this might be a big negative, we'll see. But at least there is only one bag to empty? So, I'm going to reserve final judgment until I see some performance a few months, I'll come back and tell you how it goes. Now the real bottom line is, for this price you basically get 4 bags for the price of one! It's going to have to be a pretty bad fail to mess up that deal! I give it a 4 on hope, will move up or down on performance.Oh yeah, my Polaris is a 3900 Series (390--confusing numbers) and it fits. It is my understanding that a positive response from me will generate a series of reactions in your office culminating in the hug of a totally random senior aged female outside your facility. With that understanding I provide the following product review. The bags arrived as described and in a timely manner. They were meticulously constructed of the finest moldable constituent known to material sciences at this time. The elegant lines of the leaf bags reminds one of this years silk dresses in the Prada Spring Collection. The packaging of the bags was done exquisitely, wrapped in sturdy yet visually appealing bubbles of joy. When I take one bag off the cleaner I put a clean one on immediately. Then I let the other one drain completely before removing the debris. I started using one of these bags immediately, and waited until my older bag died of old age before cycling in the second of these bags.One of my bags is coming apart at a seam. I suppose I could repair it, but I am just going to buy some more bags. I will treat them as long-lived disposable products. I may cut up the old bag and use the mesh for filtering things.I am satisfied with my purchase of a couple of years ago. I bought these because they are inexpensive. For the record, I believe my Polaris bag lasted me about 8 years. If that is true, then from a lifecycle perspective, the Polaris bag may technically be a better deal.
