A: Once the earbuds are charged, remove from the charging cradle, enable Bluetooth on your device, and select “EAH-AZ40” for pairing. If prompted for a passkey, input “0000” (four zeros). Consult the Operating Instructions for more detail.

**Q: The earbuds are not fitting in my ears properly. How do I get a better fit?**
A: Choose an earpiece size that fits snugly, and twist gently as you insert in your ear for a secure seal. The Technics logo should read straight when they are inserted correctly.

**Q: Can I switch my connection from one Bluetooth Device to another?**
A: Yes! Once you pair your AZ40 earbuds to your devices via Bluetooth (see User Guide) you can connect to your devices through the device settings or through the Technics audio app.

**Q: How do I utilize Touch Controls?**
A: Consult your User Guide for a full key of Touch Controls, including play/pause, voice assistant, receive/reject call, and track forward/back.

**Q: Why does one earbud have better battery life than the other?**
A: The earbud that is removed from the case first starts the Bluetooth pairing process with your devices which may result in a slightly shorter battery life.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice headphones

I bought these during Prime Days for less than half of MSRP, and they're probably the most expensive ear buds/headphones I have owned, so I can't really say if they are superior to other brands or not. That said they seem like a quality product - I think the sound quality is good and noise canceling is certainly decent. It's also nice to be able to just tap the flat spot on the right side to pause whatever you're listening to or to answer your phone. These are manufactured by a respected manufacturer (Technics = Panasonic) which has been in the business of manufacturing quality audio devices for decades. There might be a better set out there - but I'm not sure if there's a set of similar quality for a similar price. However, a bit of advice, if you're not picky about which color you want, the rose gold version in particular seems to vary in price daily AT LEAST. So if you're looking to grab a pair check the price a few times a day for a couple days before you buy to get the best deal. I'm satisfied with them and would recommend them, however as I said above, I cannot give a comparison to other mid to higher priced options as I haven't owned any other sets of similar price or quality.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent pair of earbuds

I was looking for an upgraded higher end pair of earbuds when I caught these on a Black Friday sale. I was really curious how well the multi device connectivity would work and was not disappointed. I use these everyday at work between listening to music or taking calls. I love the fact that I can connect these to both my work cell phone and my personal phone at the same time. A lot of the time I listen to music while I do my computer work but would occasionally miss a call on my work phone. With these earbuds I can now be confident that I won’t miss any calls. The sound quality whether you are on calls or listening to music is fantastic, deep bass and the highest of highs with music. Calls and web based computer meetings works equally as well, they have functionality also to lessen background noise both ways. The setting to allow ambient noise around to be amplified is also a new experience to me with earbuds, and it works very well. I would absolutely recommend to anyone in the market for an upgrade to earbuds to go ahead and purchase this set and I most definitely do not regret my purchase of them.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ CAN WITHSTAND AN ENTIRE LAUNDRY CYCLE

I know these may not have the greatest sound for audiophiles out there, but I will give these a 5 star review because not once, but TWICE I've left the earbuds in my pocket and they've survived the entire wash cycle...wash AND dry...AND they still worked. I originally bought them for the office because I was always on Zoom/Phone calls and they were comfy and long lasting. The first pair I had for a year and used extensively, but noticed the left ear bud wasn't a loud as it used to be. When I thought I lost them and ordered a replacement pair and used those, I could see there was definitely a difference in sound quality. But I dont care. Any earbud that can survive the laundry is a must for me. And no, I dont care if Beats are that tough I will not be buying them. Now that the price has come down a bit too, I'm more likely to recommend them to people.
