Helped considerably with isolation and sound quality
After reading many reviews I decided to give these a try. Not sorry I did. They are for Sennheiser IEM CX400bt and not the exact fit recommended for these earbud tips. I have found that these are slightly too long for these earbuds. I am experimenting with shaving a little bit off the back until the fit is right. For others it may be just fine. The isolation has doubled from the original silicone tips. They do take a little bit of patience to get the installation into the ear right. Squeeze too much and there is no grip while the memory foam expands into the ear canal. Don't squeeze enough and the earbuds wont go in and there is no grip. I have experienced no issue so far with the tips falling off the buds and staying in my ears as some have reported. Sound quality has improved in some ways and stayed the same in others. Bass is tighter and more solid than before do to tighter seal. The high end is slightly recessed due to the longer length of the tips and the wax guards which I am going to take out. Once I get them trimmed to correct length and remove the wax guards and listen for a while I will get a better idea and update the review. So far I have seen no evidence of any deterioration or disintegration of the foam. These are used 8-10 hours a day so they see some heavy use. Update 1: Before I hit submit I trimmed the tips to the same length as the original silicone tips and what an immediate difference. That made these sound almost as good as the hifiman planar headphones direct off the DAC. I have never these buds sound this good. I have tried several of my test tracks that I know almost as good as the artist and I cannot believe that tips can make that much difference in the sound of IEM's. That bass is even more tight than I ever heard before. the high end opened right up and what I am still trying to figure out is the huge increase in imaging and soundstage. It's like the buds are not there as the soundstage is several feet around my head. This is by far the absolute biggest improvement I have heard in all my years of tweaking and upgrading audio equipment. All for $20 for 3 simple little pieces of memory foam. It is hard to believe that it is streaming over Bluetooth Aptx and can sound this good. These are well worth the price and if you are a tweaker and spend a little time experimenting the results will be well worth the time. I think I have gotten them as good as I can but I have two more sets to play with so maybe there is a further improvement to be had. Just for kicks I put the silicone tips back on and all the above comments completely collapsed to good sound, but nothing like I had gotten to with the modified tips. It's like the difference between a great pair of dynamic speakers and a tuned set of Acustat electrostatics. Get a set of these and play around with them. I'm sure similar results can be had with other brands of earbuds. Update 2: I believe difference in sound quality is the result of how the soft silicone tips can easily compress and distort the shape of the canal between the earbuds and the outlet into the ear canal. Also these tips have a straight shot(except for the wax shields which I removed) into the ear canal. When I trimmed the tips to the original length I noticed that the tips no longer were bottoming out in the ear canal and there was some distance between the tips and the eardrum. There was also an immediate marked improvement in comfort. There was a cross support at the end of the original tips that was there to prevent the silicone tips from collapsing but also reduced the clear cross sectional area to be reduced by my guess 40% without any compression of the silicone tips. If the tips compressed when inserted it would reduce the cross section even more. This could be causing all sorts of reflected sound waves to be created internally in the barrel, smearing the timing and phase relationships before exiting. Just a theory, but the results speak for themselves. There really is that much of a difference. I'm sure the same types of result will be had with other brands and some experimentation.

BlueBuds X - better get Meineke!
As other reviewers have mentioned, these are very hard to get on the BlueBuds X. You can't just pop them on - you've gotta force 'em on. With that said, if you manage to get them on, they're great. Very comfortable, excellent noise suppression and very secure. I'm curious to see about their durability - if there's anyone who can make these last, it's me. I always put my headphones back in the case when I'm done. And I treat them with great care. Plus, I wear ear plugs every night, and they never wear out. I'll write again in a few months if/when they wear out. **Update** Two months in: Still going strong; no sign of damage. One note; with the warmer/more humid weather, the foam is "squooshier" making it harder to put them in my ears. Gotta jam them in my ears faster before they expand. Also, no matter the weather, these aren't ideal if you have to constantly take them in and out of your ears. Once they get warm from being in your ears, ideally, you have to wait for them to cool down before you can put them back in. You can put them right back in, but the warm foam is less than ideal to work with and the fit isn't as good. **Update #2** Almost five months and still using the original pair. I've bought a second set for my wired earbuds, so I'm going to tell what I've learned. The new set is just like I remember; you squeeze them, and they stay compressed for a little while, then expand in your ear. My older pair doesn't behave this way anymore. So the reason that Comply recommends that you change them every few months isn't because they fall apart, it's because you get a better fit with a fresh pair. While I prefer the fresh-out-of-the-box fit, I see no reason to stop using an old pair just because I have to wiggle them into my ears.

Great Comfy Earphone Tip Replacements
I am using these with the BeatsX wireless Bluetooth headphones. I wanted better comfort, more thumping bass, and more isolation which is supposed to mean you can turn the volume lower and hear as much saving your headphone or phone battery. They come nicely packaged in individual slots and I do appreciate getting 3 pairs since the foam will wear faster than the silicone tips. They slide onto the BeatsX fairly easily but offer enough tension that they won't easily fall off or come off when you pull your headphones out of your ear. They are also very soft and squishy as expected and are easy to roll between your fingers and squeeze to prepare them to put in your ear. I know that these tips block out much more noise as I have tested them vs the stock silicone tips and could much more easily hear sound from the outside. I also know that these are very comfortable and stay in the ear nicely and much more secure than then the silicone tips. Finally I know that these slightly increase the tightness and punch of the bass. Not only that but I feel that the soundstage is actually improved a decent amount too which I didn't expect. What I don't know is that these allow you to reduce your volume by much. I went back and forth using these and the silicone tips and I kept my phone on a volume that made it slightly harder to hear everything clearly with the silicone tips. Then I installed the foam tips and played the same song at the same volume. There may have been a slight improvement but it seemed nearly negligible and marginal at best. It's strange because I do notice that they block out noise much better than the silicone tips which would lead me to believe that they should noticeably improve the volume but I just didn't see that in my very simple testing. I also feel that the highs are ever so slightly muffled with the foam. Not enough that it sounds bad but just barely noticeable. I have read about cutting the tip a little to improve the highs but I'm not ready to conclude that it's necessary to try it but will update the review if I decide to try. While I thought the bass might have been more improved and it didn't really allow me to turn down the volume like I expected, I really enjoy the improved isolation, the bit of extra bass, and the unexpected opening of the sound stage. I think if you don't use these with expectations that it will completely overhaul your listening experience but do want the comfort and isolation, these are easy to recommend for the price.

Nice fit, nice sound, great isolation
I bought the Comply Tx-500 foam tips to use with my Ultimate Ears Super.Fi 5 Pro earphones. This is the model Comply's web site indicated fitted my phones and it was correct. Before ordering, I suggest you visit Comply's site and use their selector tool to identify the tip model right for you. I've never had much luck with the silicone tips that come with in-ear phones, and the foam cylinders UE included, which worked ok for me, have deteriorated, so I was on the lookout for a good replacement. The Tx-500 is comfortable and the outer surface being smooth means that it won't fill up with dirt too quickly. If you order this set from Amazon, you get the medium size, which "fits most". It is also available from Comply's web site in small and large, and in a set with one pair in each size. My ear canals are, I guess, a bit on the small side. The mediums work but next time I'll try small to see if that's better. I was very impressed with the sound isolation - I typically use the earphones on airplanes, so that was important to me. I've tried various noise-canceling headphones but never liked any of them. The Comply tips worked great in that regard, and I got good sound quality from the UE phones. I highly recommend the Tx-500 - just take into account which size is best for you. Edit: I have tried to get Amazon to specify that the size is "Medium". They changed it from not specifying the size at all to "Small/Medium", which is not correct, and rejected my second attempt to correct it. Comply doesn't make a "Small/Medium" - these are Medium. Edit 1/19/10: I see that Amazon gave up on listing the size - sigh. Also, I just returned from a trip where I spent many hours listening to the earphones through the Comply tips. They were very comfortable even after extended use and were also easy to insert and remove.

Much better than rubber dome tips
6 months of use as e-drum and stage drum monitors - the tips did their job well, muting high frequency noise and retaining the bass from the in-ears. I would not use them when exercising, walking/running in public spaces, driving, etc. because your situation awareness will decrease without the high frequencies (unless your headphones can transmit these, of course). First time buyer? I'd recommend that you buy the assorted pack that comes with 3 sizes and spend some time with each size. A tip too small won't seal as well as a bigger one, and that's critical. The foam seemingly becomes a bit softer in time, which makes it more damage prone during transport and when inserting into the ear -- but softer foam seals better. You'll see people squeezing them hard before inserting into the ear, but that will cause the foam to crack quickly or detach from the plastic core. It's better to heat them up to body temperature (with hands or breath) which will soften them up in under a minute, then squeeze lightly and gently push into the ear while the foam is still warm.

Improved Jaybird Bluebuds X - Short Lifespan
I have owned both the Jaybird Freedoms and the Jaybird Bluebud Xs. Unfortunately with the Bluebud Xs Jaybird does not include any foam tips. I think these tips are far superior to others as they function like earplugs and expand creating a better fit. Because of this issue I went in search of replacement tips and stumbled upon these Comply Tx-500s. I was a bit wary of the purchase at first because some comments indicate that the tips do not fit on the Jaybird Bluebud Xs. These tips may not be as easy to get on as you're used to, but they do in fact fit on the Jaybird Bluebud Xs. The only issue with these tips is the lifespan as others have complained about. The tips lose their firmness and even had one that cracked somehow. The originally purchased the multi-pack in February 2014 because I wasn't sure what size I needed. Now that I know that my size is Medium, I'm ordering another set to continue to use with my Jaybird Bluebud Xs. Its just unfortunate that one set only lasted me 3 months, but since I'll be ordering a full 3-set of Mediums my value will be much better ($20 for the next upcoming year). Again, these function well as serve their purpose, but they just don't last long enough.

Best Foam Tips for a Drummer’s IEMs
I’m a drummer, and I use IEMs all the time, even when practicing at home. I always have one of my drum sets fully mic’d and ran through a digital mixer, with EQ/compression/reverb/etc. Then the output goes through a quality headphone amp, then into my hybrid-driver IEMs). For good measure, I also use a Buttkicker tactile transducer to really FEEL the bass/sub-bass frequencies. I’ve tried all different types of IEM tips, including off-brand foam tips. But Comply is simply the best. It offers superior noise cancellation (necessary when playing the drums), and the fit and sound is fantastic. They last long time too, considering I drum pretty much every day. My IEMs stay put in my ears, even during hot outdoor summer gigs. Decided to leave a review now, as I was searching my previous orders to make sure I’m buying the exact model/size as last time.

Best tip on the market.
I've used off brand foam tips, rubber, and these are 110% the best earbud tips. After about 3 weeks of use still no softening of the foam itself. It fits super comfortably and doesn't make the inside of my ears itchy like other earbud tips. Got these for my kbears and they work and fit perfect.

Not waxguard at all
If u just use them couple of time wax get all over and makes it sticky and uncomfortable and hard to get in your ear I would look for better ones.
