Amazon Elements Organic Whole Food Vitamin D3, 60 tablets

Amazon has a good supplement brand. I like this whole-foods version of Vitamin D3. Small. Doesn't put a weird/bad taste in my mouth.

They swallow easily

Organic: I love the fact this D3 supplement is organic. I prefer organic whenever possible. Dosing strength: This supplement is a mid-level dosing strength source of D3. If you're someone who takes modest doses of D3, this supplement will work well for you. However, if you take high dosing of D3, there are higher dosing organic options out there, at a similar premium. Pill size: The pills are a bit large, but I have no trouble taking them. Bottom line: This is a quality D3 supplement, with the added benefit of being organic. There is a slight premium to this D3 supplement over comparable supplements, bit the quality is very good. 4 stars

It may seem silly/ignorant for me to say but I didn't know if these were intended to swallow or chew and I didn't see anything specific about it in the product info- but then again, supplements typically use the exact wording "chewable tablets" so I should have known 🤦‍♀️ Each of us in our family have thyroid and autoimmune issues that in turn brings a vitamin D3 deficiency with it. 11 year old is to take an additional 2,000 iu a day, so I thought I'd take a chance with them. They're a little too big for her to swallow- she has difficult with certain vitamins/medications and does better with the gel capsule D3 form. And while it's not hard to chew, I'm now pretty sure they're not intended to be because they don't taste good when chewed. I'll be finishing the bottle myself and I'm happy with the quality and ingredients in it.

We live on the second floor with just two windows and two small skylights. I had a blood test that indicated I was deficient in Vitamin D and so my doctor recommended I try a supplement to bring my levels back up. This bottle of Amazon Elements Organic Vitamin D pills arrived to me in great condition. The pills are in a dark opaque bottle with a twist top cap and no childproof feature. The pills are small, in my opinion, and easy to swallow. They are a round saucer shape with edges at the middle. Instructions indicate to take one per day, and you get 60 in the bottle so about a two months' supply. I think the price is fair for what you get, considering the product is Organic, vegan, and gluten-free. I like that you are mainly getting the actual Vitamin D and not as much filler that other vitamin companies may use. I noticed that Amazon runs a sale on them every now and then, so you can get them for a little cheaper if you wait. I do plan on purchasing more once I run out.

These pills seem effective, but they're so large. They might actually be longer than those giant fish oil pills, though they're not soft gels either. I haven't had difficulty swallowing them, but they certainly were daunting. They also have a pretty funky, earthy smell that could be off-putting for some, so if you're looking for a pretty run of the mill vitamin, these might be a bit different from what you expect.
