These were perfect for our trip. They are compact and sturdy. IMPORTANT: These do NOT convert 220v to 110v. Do not use with things that aren't labeled "220/110". With the exception of most hairdryers and curling irons, most electronic items are dual-voltage capable. These worked perfectly with our phone chargers.

We realized a day or two before our long-anticipated family trip to Switzerland that we hadn't thought about the adapters. We had lived there 15 years ago with our young family consisting of two adults and three kids under six, back in the dinosaur ages when the Internet still seemed new and people corresponded mainly through email. Now we were about to leave US soil for two weeks with five adults, one teenager, and one tween, each with at least two devices to stay connected to work, school, home, and friends. Between the two of them they got our six adapters delivered on time and in perfect condition. Each adapter worked exactly as needed, powering our devices to help us power through each day of navigating city streets and public transport, finding each other when separated, staying connected to folks back home, and documenting every step of the way. Thanks to our adapters I was even able to create a quick music video of our travels for my mom's surprise 80th birthday party to send to family members just in time for the celebration. Just bought and used this 3 plug set during a three-week trip to Switzerland. Worked perfectly with a wide variety of appliances (including air dryer, curling iron, and electronics). I wasn't sure what to expect because the price was so low, but they did the trick, no fuss, no muss. (Ironically, I bought a single expensive one as a back up and it turned out to be much less efficient.)
