Tried, failed. But, the 22mm Quad Lock ball will tighten in a 20mm socket system. That's what I run. The ball from one end tightened in my 20mm ball and socket system. The Quad Lock balls are simple to remove. Untighten the screw, remove the ball. Another option is a 20mm-to-22mm "barbell" adapter from Bulletpoint Solutions. **Q: What size bolt is that at the bottom?
