I’ve used it in my hot tub twice and water has obviously gotten inside and the battery port is already rusted. I had the lid screwed on firmly. I’m going to dry it out in the sun and try a layer of Teflon tape to see if that seals it up better because this light really is cool. I added two photos of my hot tub with the light on. The blue is amazing and chill and the green makes it look really witchy!💙💚🧙 The remote works only when it’s about a foot- maybe 18” or less underwater. When I had the light at the bottom of the hot tub, the remote did not work. I simply pulled up the light to make the adjustments I wanted and put the light back. If you use the suction cup, I would peel the light off by slipping a fingernail under the edge of the suction cup, rather than just pulling on the unit. The rubber casing is quite thin and I would imagine it can tear easily. ### ⭐ Cursed Item *by O***H on March 22, 2022* This light broke pretty much immediately and so far it's only been used twice. It technically still functions but the remote only works about 10% of the time and it's unclear what the problem is. At first, I thought it might not work when the light is submerged in the water but it occasionally will work when it's underwater and sometimes it'll randomly stop working before I ever fill up the tub and the light is still totally dry. The light itself will randomly start rapidly cycling through different colors which is super annoying and several times it's turned on completely by itself and started doing this and the remote won't work to turn it off so we've had to completely disassemble the light and take out the batteries (which really sucks when it's woken you up at 2am to begin with). Every time it's been used I've made sure to take the entire thing apart so the batteries and everything get a chance to dry out but this seemingly hasn't helped at all.
