They force you to use your core muscles and focus on balance. But they also extend you and seem to help with suppleness etc. It's early days yet, but I'm impressed by the sliders. Their simplicity is a big selling point. I've become increasingly cynical about gyms that insist that you need expensive equipment. I'm finding that the best workouts involve stretch bands, dumb bells, your own body weight and floor based exercises like the plank or push ups. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Oh my abs! You can do plank/pike or mountain climbers in your apartment with no equipment except the sliders. The company send you links to their site with some exercise ideas, and I found a ton of other exercises elsewhere online. There are some really awesome ideas!My one concern with these, after my issue with my own klutzy-ness, is that I'd be afraid to use these on real wood floors. I didn't have any issues with the fake wood laminate in my apartment, but I think the sliders might scratch the floor. I don't have any home gym free weights, but these make the most out of using my body weight. I can definitely feel more burn when I do lunges, mountain climbers, pikes, and many more exercises with these sliders.
