I tried just lathering it in my hands, instead of rubbing the bar on my head, and putting in on the roots and lightly scrubbing and then pulling it through when I rinse. It's surprising how much it lathers up in my hair! This keeps the ends from drying out but gives me volume at the roots. The scent of this bar is a great replacement. I’m not saying it smells like Le Labo but the scent is in the same herbal/woody family. I really don’t care for flowery or fruity scents and this is the only bar I’ve found so far that ticks all the boxes. It lathers well and gently cleanses my hair leaving it feeling clean but not stripped. After the first use I could tell a difference in the softness of my hair. I’m honestly very picky and wasn’t expecting this shampoo bar to be anything great but I love it!
