It still allows me to type fast and accurately. I don't know if it's the height of the keys or what, but it's just comfortable for me. Here are some things I've encountered after I've been using it for awhile:1. Turning on the "breathing effect" does activate the up/down arrows on the W, A, S, D keys and it drives me crazy! I don't know how to turn that off, so I just don't mess with the lights on my keyboard, they are just always on which is not a big deal for me. If you're a gamer, then turning on the breathing effect is good for you because these are pretty much the only keys you need anyway.2. The #2 key on the 10 key pad is starting to type twice sometimes. I either have to remember to tap lightly, or keep in mind this happens and double check my entry. Not too much of a big deal for me, I do use the 10-key pad a lot for ISBN searches but I'm now used to double checking the number if no results turn up. That's the only number I'm having issues with and it's not a deal breaker for me because I still LOVE MY KEYBOARD.Those are the only things I've come across, I haven't spilled anything on it so I can't attest to the waterproof claim. But the little brush is very handy for cleaning in between the keys. Like someone else said, and I've mentioned in my earlier review, the keystrokes are a little loud. But I still personally don't care about that. Actually I like when people pass by and might be thinking "Dang! She types fast!". : )I've added some pictures, including one of the back which someone said there wasn't one. I took the pic with one "foot" up and the other down. And the highlighter in the picture is to give an idea of how tall the keyboard is. Hope this helps!I really love this keyboard. I'm a cataloger who does a lot of typing entering metadata all day. Some keyboards slow me down, I didn't like the standard keyboard that came with the Dell I have at work. After awhile the keys would stick when they got too dirty with dust, etc. I went on the hunt for one I was comfortable with. My job purchased a couple different ones I requested, one of them being ergonomic which took up way too much room on my desk. I need space in front of me for placing books I'm cataloging so I needed something slimmer. I didn't want to keep asking so I started buying my own. This is probably my 5th or 6th keyboard and I've finally found the love of my life. I love the keystrokes, it's a little loud but I don't really care about that. If you're looking for a quieter keyboard, this one is probably not for you, especially if you have long nails. It only takes a light touch and I find myself making less errors and typing much more quickly. Last time I checked, I was at an 80 wpm accuracy. I do a lot of 10 key as well so that was also important to me on a keyboard. I made sure this one had lights to indicate whether the caps or number lock were on. I switch back and forth between caps lock while I work and not having a light to tell if it's on or not drives me crazy. One of the keyboards I had purchased was wireless and it worked for about 6 months then I started having trouble with the connection. No amount of troubleshooting would help, including replacing the batteries. And it had also started refusing to type the letter "J" so I had to look for a j and copy and paste it until I could get another keyboard. So I made sure to go with a wired keyboard this time.The lights are nice and you can adjust the brightness on it, or turn it off all together. I just leave them on, but sadly they are not highly visible where I am. We have bright lights in our area so they don't show up very bright. I can see them when I glance down though, but you don't notice it from afar. One of these days I'm going to sit silent so the automatic lights go out so I can see it in the dark, I just have to wait until no one comes through. :-) It also came with a small brush to clean in between the keys. Supposedly it is waterproof as well, but I haven't tested this feature. If I ever spill my coffee or water on it, I'll update this review. I'll probably be back soon knowing how clumsy I can be. All in all, YES I would recommend this keyboard. I'm thinking of buying another to keep a spare in case this one dies on me (hopefully not in the near future). I'm probably going to be at my job for another 15-20 years, and this one may not be available anymore if I need another. But of course maybe by then everything will be automatically typed through thought processes where you hook up a cord to your head and it takes your thoughts and types it out for you....*yikes* ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Really nice keyboard for the price *by J***O on Reviewed in the United States on May 7, 2017* I was searching for a reasonably priced keyboard that was easy to type with and pleasing to look at. This keyboard fills the requirements perfectly. This is a really nice keyboard for the price. The footprint of this keyboard is practical and not intrusive. The keyboard comes with an instruction sheet listing all of the short cut key functions of the keyboard. Due to the reasonable price, I initially questioned the durability of the keyboard when used for extensive game play and long typing sessions. This keyboard has taken everything I can throw at it and has continued to perform without issue. I will purchase two more keyboards as gifts. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Awesome...however, be aware of a few things... *by D***N on Reviewed in the United States on December 14, 2017* Overall, this is a really great keyboard. There are however, a few things you should be aware of before purchasing it.Pros:*Very cool-looking.*Functions well; no input delay.*Immediately installs itself when plugged into your computer’s USB port (I did nothing...it was magical).*Works seamlessly with all computer programs (including InDesign, a program which is generally more temperamental than a cat with rabies).*The backlight dimming function works well, and the keys are visible at any setting (except for when the backlight is turned off).*This thing is SOLID. It’s built like a TANK! (an Abrams tank, mind you, not a Carro Veloce CV-35).*It makes the workday at your office a little bit brighter. :)*Did I mention that it looks really cool? :)Cons:*The board itself (not including key height) sits really high...about an inch and a quarter from the surface it’s resting on.*The keys are really tall. In addition to the aforementioned tall keyboard height, the keys themselves are more than a half of an inch tall, making the total keyboard height (with keys) nearly two inches tall. This was difficult for me to adjust to...it’s almost twice the height of a standard keyboard.*You can’t see the key characters without the backlight on.*The is a larger-than-normal gap between the colon/semicolon key and the return/enter key. This is kind of a big issue when you’re typing, because you have to pick your right hand up off of the “home row” to hit the return key, instead of just twitching your pinkie finger to the right like you can with other keyboards. I don’t see this being as much of a problem for guys with bigger hands, but just be advised that it is an issue for those of us with smaller hands. I’m sure with time, I’ll get used to it.
