The RUB Activalve is a patented, temperature-sensitive automatic water main control device designed to prevent costly water damage from frozen pipes. Made in Italy with aerospace-quality components, it shuts off your home's water supply between 46°F and 48°F without needing batteries or electricity. Featuring a durable stainless steel spring rated for 30,000 cycles and NSF/ANSI certified lead-free materials, it offers reliable, manual override controls and a visible status indicator for ultimate peace of mind during winter storms or extended absences.

## Description

Patented automatic home water main control device that is temperature sensitive and shuts your water off before your pipes could freeze and burst. It protects your home limiting water damage from freezing pipes that may Burst and ruin your valuable possessions. It is completely mechanical and it works without electricity or batteries. How is that for a peace of mind! so it will works during a winter storm where power outages are common, even if you are out of town on vacation. It will automatically trigger (shut off) between 46° F and 48° F to protect you in case you LOSE heat to your home. You can also use it manually to turn your water main off and on. Super simple, push the red button to shut your water off, or turn the Blue wheel to turn it back on. It is easily identifiable as your home water control device and it has a visible window indicator that shows you whether the water is on or off. Location- activalve works best when placed in the closest accessible location to where the water main enters the home. The Basement may be the ideal location for activalve. If the Basement does not get below trigger point when losing heat to your home or on other Type of installations such as concrete slab or crawl spaces that are not sealed or heated, follow the pipe to where it first enters the home thru the first floor and before it branches out, and install immediately after that. Easy to install- shut off your water main, open faucets to release pressure, then with a pipe cutter cut a Section of pipe 1-3/4”, then you can easily install activated by tightening the compression ends, turn your water main back on and turn the Blue wheel on activator and you will hear the water running, make sure there are no leaks and you are done. Your home is protected.
