**Q: Can you provide an electronic copy of the booklet which came with the compass? I'm finding the font size in the booklet difficult to read.**
A: I'd be with you on that since I'm over 50!  Even the manual is hard to read, though. ! I am looking around to buy a compass, and wanted to see how easy the manual would be to read after the PDF file was offered by the seller after you asked your question.  It was a disappointment -- although must be 10X better than the one that came with it. Even when you enlarge it on your computer, the print is not even a solid line. Perhaps the manufacturer should re-do their manual to make it much easier to read. Have you found the manual easy to read? Did you print it? Maybe it appears better once it's printed.

**Q: What is the procedure for adjusting declination?**
A: You can NOT adjust the declination on this compass.

**Q: Is this compass made in the U.S.?**

A: Lol, it's hard to remember. I put an absolute value on the declination, so it's always positive and less confusing whether west is negative or positive within the formula. 

Magnetic bearing = true bearing + |west declination|

True bearing = magnetic bearing - |western declination|

Magnetic bearing = true bearing - |eastern declination|

True bearing = magnetic bearing + |eastern declination|

Appears to be well-made and of high quality. It includes a simple 6-page user manual, that identifies the features of the compass. REALIZE: This compass has no way to adjust an Angle of Declination, as such it is a setting one has to simply remember in their head whenever orienteering. (Eastern Tennessee: Declination is approximately 2° to 5° East; Central Tennessee: Declination is near 0° to 2° West; Western Tennessee: Declination is approximately 3° to 5° West.) It features a fluorescent bezel, along with a fluorescent North Arrow. Legibility is excellent, as all numbers are sharp and easy to read. The Sighting Eyepiece is crystal clear, making the pivoting azimuth dial easy to read. The built-in Bubble Level is a nice feature, assuring you when the compass is perfectly level for true azimuth readings. It includes a lanyard of sufficient length, to wear it around your neck as required. A nice feature is the front-to-rear lined sight window, allowing prompt usage whenever the compass is closed.
