A plastic jar with a screw-on lid. The lids fit snug but I wouldn't want to overtighten them. The jar material is OK for powders, as I use mine for powder coat storage. They include labels that come in handy. In my opinion, these containers are acceptable for storage in a fixed location, not to be carried around in a case or used for work. I wold not trust the screw on lid to support much weight. Price/value is good, delivery time was fast.
