With precise rack Ôn pinion steering, the No Feedback Rack system isolates the operator from considerable steering loads of today's high horsepower outboards. This unique rack system will replace standard Teleflex® Rack without dash modification, while the back-mount design provides for easy installation. Fits single non-power-assisted outboards up to V-4 at speeds to 50 mph. 4.0 turns lock-to-lock. Standard 3/4" tapered shaft. Meets NMMA requirements and ABYC standards.

Review: Great product - Accurate description
Review: The result was better than when the boat was new - I was initially confused by Teleflex & SeaStar products, believing SeaStar were copies. In fact they are the same company and same products but in Canada known as SeaStar. I bought the cable for a Tracker ProV16 with a Mercury 40hp since the original had seized right up. The old cable was a 14 foot but it was installed with 2 small radius bends so I experimented and found there was room to put in a 13 foot cable with larger radius bends. In addition I trimmed back a few inches of the flotation foam near where the cable exited the hull at the outboard end to smooth out a small bend there. The result was better than when the boat was new. You can turn the wheel with one finger now, very smooth operation.

I was initially confused by Teleflex & SeaStar products, believing SeaStar were copies. In fact they are the same company and same products but in Canada known as SeaStar. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What a difference!

Perfect fit for my boat! I had sticky and extremely stiff steering, it was so difficult to turn that I thought I was going to break the fiberglass console from the torque. Now, I can turn the wheel with one finger - on land! The cable appears to be a direct OEM replacement, the rack end came with fresh grease and the motor end had the perfect amount of lube as well. I haven't tested it in the water yet because it's been too cold and windy (33f and 40mph gusts on lake michigan), but I'm sure it'll feel like a brand new boat once I can take it out!
