Secondly, the rubber is softer and more comfortable than the two taped together tennis balls. The product is also much smoother, and rolls smoothly against a wall, which means that it can be used for massaging the lower back while doing squats for you multitaskers out there! It does not mark the wall. I brought it to my physical therapy session and my therapist liked the product as well, and wrote down the name of the product. What else? Initially the product hurt some, so I eased up on the pressure. As my back loosened up, the roller with increased pressure did not hurt. I think this, as well as my back feeling better, is a sign that the product, in conjunction with my other exercises has been helpful.
