The elastic waist fit fine without tightening the drawstring, but they were 3-4 inches too long, dragging along the floor. OK, I washed them in cold water and dried them on medium (the label advises low heat, but they all say that, and I don't want to have to treat pajamas delicately). The waist was still fine, and now, after one washing, the length is perfect. They shrank 3-4 inches in length. If you have much longer legs, you may end up with short pajamas, but I'll probably buy a few more. Most cotton clothes don't shrink much with further washing--fingers crossed.The label says 100% cotton. They are light weight, very soft, a little stretchy, not too warm on warm nights, and very comfortable to sleep or hang around the house in. The fly has no button (Except the printed fake ones), but it is wide enough and with enough overlap that it does not gape open. My wife laughs every time she sees me in them, and it's a good laugh.
