Soft white (depending on who makes it) can cast a color anywhere between a soft white glow and a soft yellowish glow. I buy the daylight bulbs, which are full spectrum and act like real daylight in the house. In the bathroom it's much easier to see what you really look like, if you want that kind of thing! **Q: Can these bulbs be used when the fixture is not a dimmer?** A: Definitely yes! I have a Hollywood style makeup mirror without a dimmer and they work excellent. Also I really love that these bulbs do not throw out heat or get hot! Incredible! **Q: Is there any printing on the white area that holds the globe of the bulb?** A: Yes, several things are printed. The Sunco brand name, the U/L certification, the bulb info (wattage, color spectrum, lumens) and the warning that says "Caution: suitable for use in damp locations. Hope they last as long as rated. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exactly as Listed - I Like This Item *by R***N on October 5, 2024* I will try to be as honest as possible because I depend on other people's reviews and feel I want to help the best I can: 4 Years ago I bought Two 10 Packs of this exact bulb. I had 2 bathroom Vanity Lights to fill with 5 bulbs each which took one 10 pack and the other 10 pack was for back-up extra when needed. These have been good bulbs. Very bright and worked perfectly. After 4 years I noticed a couple bulbs in each bathroom were flickering a tiny bit, and only for a short period when first turned on. After a month or so I decided it was getting worse so I replaced the 4 that were acting up. That left me with 6 back-up extra bulbs. I like these bulbs so much I decided to purchase another 10 pack for back-up extras now even though I still had as few left. Things disappear so fast anymore and I like these bulbs so much that I felt it was a smart move to buy the extras now for when I need them years from now. For the record, the bulbs I replaced after 4 years were still working, but just flickering in the first few minutes of use. They were also from our main master bedroom bathroom which is used many times per day. The guest bath/extra bathroom has not required any replacement bulbs yet. So they always claim light bulbs will last longer than they really do, and I'm cool with that. I got 4 (almost 5) years from a few of the bulbs while the other's are still going strong. How long will they last in total I do not know. But I feel the price paid was good enough for almost 5 years on the few I replaced already.
