Let's resin casting epoxy resin has fewer bubbles even not use the heat gun/torch, the simple way is to let the resin sit for 10-15 minutes, then pour into the mold. 2.I received the epoxy reisn go cloudy,is it expired? The resin must be the correct temperature for the correct finish. If it’s too cold, it can affect the finish. To warm up resin, place the bottles of pre-mixed resin into warm water and let the resin warm up a tad before mixing. Do not heat it. 3.Can I use the torch or pressure pot? This is now the only resin I use because it’s just about bubble free. Whatever bubbles you see at first pour will usually dissipate when it heats up to cure. I’d rather spray a mist of 99% isopropyl to rid of surface bubbles because that won’t ruin my mold like a torch can. Hope that helps. You also want room temperature to be warm keeping the resin thin so as you stir your resin less bubbles will be created. **Q: Can you sand this? I have some uneven spots on the sides** A: yes you can sand this, however, it will leave the resin to not match the clear. Once you sand it, I would brush it with new resin to get that clear glossy finish **Q: Would this be ok to use for a live edge table?** A: depends on how deep your pour is - If it is more then 1 inch I would look into their deep pour resin **Q: can you mix acrylic paints with this resin?** A: Yes.
