This one came up at a very good price and looked solid -- and clearly non-telescopic. Indeed, it does the job without bending or breaking, the metal section is thick enough and the hand scratches efficiently but gently, with five bevelled rounded fingers. The black handles comes off as it is not glued, but this isn't an issue as long as it doesn't start happening while scratching -- to see if it loosens up eventually.
