Great stamp! perfect for practicing geometry translations over and over again on paper. Also the kids (10th graders) kinda like the stamp idea. They are also much quicker about passing it around the room than they used to be, and their graphs are much straighter and neater and therefore more helpful.

Drawing easy-to-read coordinate planes is a challenge for young mathematicians. With this, I no longer have to struggle to figure out if the her points are in the right place. One of my favorite homeschooling tools (it's up at the top of the list with the white board). PS You need an over sized stamp pad to ink the whole thing at once.

This is such a cool concept, but it almost never stamps the full graph. Usually there is a big empty section somewhere on the grid where the stamp did not make tactile contact with the paper. I really wish it would be a little more effective. I will still keep the stamp because its still a great time saver, but it needs improvement.

I teach high school math and I purchased six stamps altogether to make taking notes faster for my students. I simply have a stamp and stamp pad at every group. Pros: Makes plotting and graphing for students more accurate and let's them focus on the overall results rather than spending a lot of time drawing out coordinate grids. I had previously used grid sticky notes, but it was getting expensive, so this saved money in the long run. Cons: Requires a larger than average stamp pad. The only affordable option I found bleeds through the student's notebook paper. There was a learning curve for my high school students. There is no padding or compression layer between the rubber stamp and the wooden holder so the image only comes out if it is stamped onto a surface that gives a little (like a notebook) if the students stamp directly on their desk/table it doesn't make contact with the whole stamp and leaves part off. Also, I needed to glue the little handles on all of them - one came already unattached and throughout the year the rest all came undone at some point. A little Elmer's School Glue took care of the problem and they've held solid ever since.

I'm using this for math homework and it saves me lots of time drawing graphs (it's also easier to make your graph precise.) Here's what you should know, though: Your stamp pad needs to have an ink area which is at least 3 full inches in its smallest dimension. I had one I thought would work, but it was 2.75" - doesn't work at all. No big deal, I just had to order a bigger one. There are some 5x7-inch pads here on Amazon which work great - I'm using http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0094KGIEY but there are also blue & red ink versions of that.
